The DansGame emote is the perfect way to show the streamer or chat that something said or done makes them very uncomfortable, disgusted or upset.

For example, you can use it when you witness a particularly brutal ingame death scene, something disgusting happens in the stream, or a very offensive joke is written in the chat.

DansGame was created around the year 2010. Dan, the man behind DansGaming, started streaming video games back in 2009 and built a large community by just being himself. After he became an admin on Twitch, his community dug up the image from an old stream and it quickly became a part of the Global Emotes on Twitch. 

In 2016 and 2017, the emote became more and more popular and DansGame made it to Urban Dictionary for the first time. Its the most popular emotes on Twitch.

Today, it's one of the most spammed emotes for expressing disgust or excitement and is an integral part of Twitch culture.
